Also, we restructured and increased our Help Center, so that customers can more easily find answers to questions they may have about our offerings.

New Report: Dimethyl Ether Production from Methanol

We have just added a new report to our library of +800 Production Cost Reports, which are best-in-class professional studies examining production processes.

This report presents the economics of Dimethyl Ether (DME) production from methanol. The process under analysis is the conventional dehydration process, in which methanol is reacted in the presence of a catalyst, yielding DME and water. Unconverted methanol contained in the reactor effluent is recovered reused in the process. The economic analysis performed assumes a plant located in the United States.

You can check more information about this report or search in the library available at Intratec website (www.intratec.us) for reports focused on other industrial products.  Our Production Cost Reports provide up-to-date analysis of capital and operating costs.

Changes to our Terms and Conditions

We’ve updated our Terms & Conditions.  The main purpose of such update was to restructure our legal documents, clarifying and simplifying our statements while providing more transparency.  The new Terms & Conditions are effective as of today for new accounts.

As part of the changes, customers will now receive via email an Order Confirmation whenever a purchase is made or a subscription is renewed, linked to the respective Terms & Conditions in place.

Two-Factor Authentication: an Extra Security Step

While we at Intratec take security very seriously, we are always improving it by applying the best practices and security standards.  In this context, we are glad to announce a Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) as the most recent security improvement implemented.

This improvement consists in an extra security step on login: now you will be asked a verification code, sent to you via email whenever you try to log in to Intratec website from a new IP address.  This will protect your account from unauthorized logins, even if you accidentally expose your password.
